Drives & Challenges
If you’re interested in hosting a drive at work or in your community, the following items are always in need. Themed drives (like a pajama party or baby shower) help make it easier to encourage donations. Of course, this list is not exhaustive.
Gift cards for gas, groceries, movies, bowling, etc.
Pajamas and robes for adults and children
Paper products including toilet paper, tissues and paper towels
Feminine hygiene products
Infant supplies such as diapers, wipes, bottles and blankets
Cleaning products such as HE detergent, fabric softener, dish soap, etc.
Canned food, lunch or snack items
If you’ve accepted a challenge such as quitting smoking or swearing, or set a weight loss goal, find sponsors to donate to the shelter as you meet your goal. It's a great way to help others as you are helping yourself.
Monetary Donations
Donations can be made in honor or in memory of someone special. Gifts can be used where the need is greatest, or earmarked for a specific program. Donations are greatly appreciated and can be given once, or set up to give on a set schedule.
Ways to Donate
Donations can be made online securely through DONOR BOX or you can send a check payable to Advocates to End Domestic Violence to P.O. Box 2529, Carson City, Nevada 89702.
If you prefer to give in person or share a credit card directly, give our office a call at (775) 883-7654 to make arrangements. Or you can stop by Classy Seconds and make either a cash or goods donation.
